Our photonovel required three main settings: home/bedroom, an office as well as a hospital. We decided that the library discussion rooms was the best option for us to easily replicate an office look and was convenient for all group members. As for the hospital scene, we went to Segi College in Kota Damansara as they have a medical faculty where they have multiple floors of clinics. Lastly the home scene was simply shot at Ian’s home. To make sure that we were heading in the right direction, we created a check list to guide us throughout the photography process. This allowed us to assure that we had taken images that were most crucial to the photonovel yet we still took photos of other scenes, angles in case we might of needed them.
Furthermore, we chose to go for black and white photos on purple coloured paper. Purple is a colour that symbolises imagination which is an important theme to our storyline. The cover of the book resembles a patient report file which hospital staffs keep track of.
