Photography Direction

Our photonovel consists of various front, side, as well as birds eye angles. We also play around with composition in which the main subject of the frame takes up a certain amount of space. At first, we thought of going for sepia toned photos but we then decided that due to the plot of of the story, purple was the best option as the colour relates to imagination which is an important theme to our story.

Storyboard

When it came to storyboarding, my group members an I each took one scene and created a story board. We did not plan on using the exact ideas but it acted more as a guide for us when

taking photographs.

We also created a check list of what each character would be wearing as well as a list of what type of shots we needed. This ensured that we would not forget anything important.
