Who am I as a designer? Through out my university journey, I have noticed that a portion of my projects are related to the environment. It was never really intentional for me to go towards that sector of design, I guess I have always had an indirect passion for environmental issues/concerns and is what I am most comfortable researching as I have a bit of knowledge on it.

I think that its important that sustainability should be targeted in every industry sector. Sustainability in Malaysia is still a developing thing though there are companies that are striving in the right direction. However, in more developed countries they have already had a head start on sustainability. In 2013, printer ink derived from algae was developed by algae by Dr. Fulbright which is completely eco-friendly and does not incorporate and dangerous chemicals that could harm both humans and the environment.

Though, as for actual design practices, I quiet enjoy publication design, illustrating and a bit of advertising design. I think that environment related projects are more of a 'hobby' or 'passion' project and will be something I do during my free time. However, there is always a way for to incorporate that within publication and illustration design. My interest in publication design has developed slowly through out the years as I have not had many experiences within that area. The publication industry is so vast where I am able to jump into many different jobs scopes.
