Statement of Intent Poster: Final Outcome

The final outcome of my poster is very different from what I had started with. Previously, there was not much character to it and lacked in some aspects. I had completely cut out the globe which I originally had and instead added the maps of the places I grew up in. This makes the poster more personal as my intention is very much about my own personal journey. I illustrated different characters to represent the TCK community and added some attributes that they relate to. I started off with more photographs but as I started illustrating, I found myself having difficulty trying to make the two work together harmoniously. I went for a handwritten font to add to the organic-ness of nature and sustainability which is then complemented by the title 'Room to Grow' which is an ode to my journey throughout this project.
