Character Workshop

I created an eye piece for Aya to represent her nature of standing up for a things she strongly believes in. The way I created the piece looks like an explosion to indicate her expressiveness.

It was really interesting to look at all the works of the following artists. Bjork's style was something I have never seen before though I think that one of the artists that caught my attention the most was James Merry. His face masks are all very organic and natural in shape. There was a piece that reminded me of a 'fairy garden' as it was so dainty and used beads and had lots of curls - much like branches on trees.
