Project Update: Making The Corals

Today I started to work on my coral pieces. Besides the modelling clay, I used tools such as a dry brush, carving tool and even a piece of hard plastic from the packaging to create some texture.

So far I have only made 18 pieces along with some sea creatures like star fish and a stingray. Texturing them doesn't really bother me but what bothers me is trying to attach pieces together. Since I'm using make shift tools, blending the pieces together took slightly longer than it normally would. Also, with the rainy season my pieces are taking slightly longer to dry since the air is cooler than usual.
